I am really excited to launch this introduction to collage workshop. In this workshop I will talk you through my collage process, inspirations and more, showing you how to get started with collage. In this workshop we will talk about where to begin, choosing a colour palette, subject matter and in the second hour we will create a collage from the painted papers, patterns, textures and source material we create in the first hour.
I will talk you through composition ideas, simplifying shape and fragments of what you are wanting to make. It is an opportunity the talk about where to begin with the process, navigating layers and drawing with scissors. This workshop is zone ONLINE via Zoom. I will provide a kit list and some fun tasks ahead of the workshop to get you thinking about using paper in a different way.
